Andrew made the process of video editing not only easy and fun, but also worked in a way that helped me to see the beauty of the footage with new eyes.  The process of seeing oneself on film can be vulnerable, and with Andrew, I felt an immediate trust, allowing him into very personal raw footage to shift and shape in a way that brought everything to life as I could not have imagined.  Andrew was lovely to work with and responded willingly to each request I had, and I could tell he gave my project not only his time but his heart.  I’m so grateful to have found him!

Andrew is an artist. He has a way of capturing the essence of his subject – whatever it is. When he works with individuals, it is as if he has opened a window on their soul.

It was because of this depth and sensitivity that I asked him, years ago, to co-create a video to portray the experience of dancing the 5 Rhythms (a practice which I teach). 5 Rhythms Dance is so utterly experiential, that it defies description by word – but Andrew’s film caught it. To this day it is still the best representation of the practice – which I so deeply love – that I have ever seen.

We just wanted to convey our thanks and admiration at a superb job on the film! We really loved it and I felt very moved! Jon had felt some anxiety prior to watching it because he is acutely aware of his propensity to trail off and waffle on. That morning was particularly bad as we were so sleep deprived. But you have somehow managed to present him as really coherent and lucid! I do jest –  he is all of those things but really, well done on the editing. You’re an asset to BIM and I really hope we get to see you again soon.
